I love pull-ups…but I didn’t when I started P90X!! I could hardly do any pull-ups so I had to modify, and I gradually improved. My goal was to do at least 15 pull-ups on each set, no matter how much assistance I required…15 was the number! I reached that goal almost every time, but it was tough. That was my number…your number may be different. Find what works for you.
Now, that I have improved, my goal is to do at least 15 pull-ups un-assisted every time and I typically exceed that. That’s a big improvement in a short amount of time. Be consistent and you will see results.
